3. Support us by attending our fundraising events

Our next big fundraiser will be the Plymtree Pre-school Race night.

Upcoming events are listed in the what's on section of the website.

As a charity we rely heavily on fundraising to enable us to replace equipment, take the children on outings and for larger specific projects like creating our fantastic outdoor area.

We occasionally ask parents to help by donating unwanted clothing for our Bag2school collection, selling draw tickets once a year or providing cakes for sale.  The children also help by taking part in a sponsored activity each year.  We really appreciate any help and support we receive from parents.

Our sponsored event in 2019 was a village walk with many of the children in fancy dress. This raised a fantastic sum of £240. We would like to thank everyone for the excellent support received, this activity has enabled us to buy 2 new balance bikes, fund the pre-school summer outing and purchase dressing up clothes from different countries and cultures.

Here are a few examples of other past fundraising activities:

We hosted our first ever Christmas Fayre which was a HUGE success raising a fantastic £1,320.

The recent Bag2School donations in Spring 2019 raised £116. These fundraising activities have helped us to improve our technology resources enabling us to buy early years software and a robot called Bee-Bot which we are very excited about.

By far our biggest fundraising event is the infamous Race Night and this year's was a huge success, we received some great feedback from the evening and also a fantastic record breaking £2,181 was raised, which was used to buy lots of wonderful equipment and supplies as well as the trip for the children to Children of the Forest trip this summer which the children LOVED!
